What time do we need to leave the Magic Kingdom in order to make dinner reservations at 8 pm at 1900 Park Fare?

    Hi Amy!

It sounds like you have quite a "happily ever after" kind of day planned.  From Magic Kingdom Park, you have two options to get you to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa for your dinner at 1900 Park Fare.  You can either take a boat (water launch) directly to the Grand Floridian OR take the Resort Monorail.  The boat will take about 10-15 minutes and the monorail will take around 15-20 minutes.  Keep in mind that the monorail runs more frequently than the boat.    Disney always recommends allowing around 90 minutes to get you to your dining reservation.  Barring any major issues (a stopped monorail, for example) you should make your reservation in time by leaving Magic Kingdom Park at around 7:10pm. If you have the time though, allow that 90 minute window.  If you arrive early, there are few better resorts to tour than the Grand Floridian!

Thanks for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I wish you a truly magical vacation!
