Disney Cruise Line Navigator App to take a peek at my vacation countdown every chance I get in the weeks and months leading up to my trip!
Embarkation day is full of excitement and fun, so I understand wanting to make sure that you have smooth sailing both before you leave and as you board! I took a quick peek at the
December 28, 2026 itinerary, and the currently scheduled all-aboard time for the Disney Destiny is 3:00 PM. You can always confirm your all-aboard time by viewing the itinerary details for your reservation, and I would suggest double-checking this important detail closer to your cruise to make sure nothing has changed. Disney Cruise Line recommends arriving at the cruise terminal
at least 60 minutes before your scheduled all-aboard time. Several weeks before your departure, you'll complete
Online Check-In when you can select a Port Arrival Time for your sailing to narrow down your arrival window.
When you arrive at Port Everglades, you'll be able to check luggage, which will be delivered to your stateroom later in the afternoon. When boarding, I keep a day bag with me that includes
required paperwork and citizenship documents, any necessary medications for the day, and maybe a change of clothes if we're planning to head to the pool deck before dinner that evening.
If you're flying in on embarkation day, Disney suggests that your scheduled flight
arrive at Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport by 12:30 PM. When we sailed out of
Ft. Lauderdale earlier this year, we decided to arrive a few days before our cruise to enjoy the area and alleviate any worries we had about potential day-of travel disruptions.
Ground transfers are available for purchase through Disney Cruise Line between the cruise terminal and the Ft. Lauderdale airport, and between select hotels and the cruise terminal when you book a pre- or post-cruise stay.
