Hey Kimberly-
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Being surrounded by palm trees, the lapping water of the Seven Seas Lagoon and fireworks in the distance could only mean paradise or… Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party has the best fireworks showcase, Happy HalloWishes. With fantastically spooky music, villain hosts and purple, orange and red arial explosion that spread around Magic Kingdom Park, it truly is sorcery in the sky. Last year at 9:30 p.m. Happy HalloWishes Fireworks Showcase entertained us on two separate evening. One from the terrace view of the California Grill high top Disney’s Contemporary Resort and the other in Magic Kingdom Park in front of Cinderella Castle. I would expect the show at the same time this year but I would ask the concierge at your resort on the day you plan to watch. If you want to catch the show outside from across the Seven Seas Lagoon there are still plenty of nice areas to see the show such as the dock, pool area and the beach. The view is not the best behind the bungalows.
Disney Dad Tip: My co-panelist Kate M. gave me a great tip. She said that if you watch Wishes or Happy HallowWishes from the dock you may hear the music piped in from Narcoossee’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort. Music, magic and mahalo!
I hope this helps, Kimberly. Please
let me know if you have any other questions.
Enjoy making many Magical Memories!
