Howdy Allison!
Welcome to planDisney. Christmas time at Walt Disney World is one of my favorite times of the year. I can almost smell the gingerbread cookies and hot cocoa. The magic of Christmas can be seen and felt everywhere, as the park is decorated with festive cheer. Many of my fellow panelists and I will also be attending this year’s
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and purchasing tickets soon, so let’s see what we can do to answer your question.
Alrighty, so tickets will become available on July 9 for guests staying at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green. For all other guests, tickets will be available starting July 16. Tickets typically go on sale around 7 AM EST, so I would be logged in to your
My Disney Experience account a few minutes early and be ready to go. Here is a link to the Special Event Tickets in case you need it.
So if this is your first time at this party, let me share some of my favorite things. The party officially kicks off at 7 PM, but you can enter the Magic Kingdom as early as 4 PM, which gives you 3 extra hours to experience rides and other activities. Be sure to pick up a holiday party map to see where a variety of cookies, festive beverages, and more will be handed out to guests at select locations. Keep an eye out on the
Disney Parks Blog for all of the Disney Eats.
Allison, I hope you and your family have the most magical time at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, and I wish you the happiest of holidays. Please stop by anytime with your questions, and we’ll be happy to answer them.
See ya real soon,
Robert
