Hi Michelle,
Thanks for making planDisney part of your visits to Disney destinations. The Disney Parks Blog's Annual
Halfway to Halloween Celebration kicked off this week, highlighting various ways to celebrate the most spooktacular season of all across Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products. In particular, news that
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is returning to Magic Kingdom Park on select dates beginning August 11 had me grim-grinning from ear to ear.
Tickets for
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party go on sale for Guests of Disney Resorts Collection hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green on April 27. All other Guests can purchase their tickets starting May 2. Last June, I purchased my ticket for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party the day tickets were released to Disney Resorts Collection hotel Guests. I'm much more of a night owl than an early bird and remember staying up past Cinderella's curfew to see if I could make the purchase. The timestamp on my ticket confirmation email is 12:27 a.m. EST, which tells me tickets went on sale just after midnight. In the absence of a formal announcement giving a time that tickets will be released, I will be up at 12:00 a.m. EST trying to purchase my ticket for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party on April 27. According to the Haunted Mansion's theme song, "As the moon climbs high o'er the dead oak tree, spooks arrive for the midnight spree." Who knew they were talking about a midnight shopping spree?!
Once you've secured your ticket for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Michelle, it's time to start planning your party attire. The planDisney panelists have some
top tips for looking boo-tiful. Above all else, I recommend wearing comfortable shoes. Don't forget it, you'll regret it. My multigenerational family went with a Beauty and the Beast theme this year and this princess wore running shoes.
