What time will Mickey officially open the Magic Kingdom when the park has early morning extra magic hours? I have heard that he rides on the train and makes it a big deal...I dont want to miss it but I also want to take advantage of the EMH!!

    Hi Courtney!

You are talking about the opening ceremony at the Magic Kingdom that is also widely known as the "rope drop".  It is a really fun thing to watch, especially if you haven't seen it before or this is your first visit.

On mornings when the Magic Kingdom has Extra Magic Hours, the ceremony will take place about ten minutes before the early opening.  I highly recommend getting there to see it, and then enjoying the park before it opens to the general public.

I hope this helps.  Please let me know if you have any other questions!
