It sounds like we have a lot in common because I'm also ready and raring to go when it comes to making my vacation reservations for 2024. I'm also planning a trip this January to cheer on a dear friend running the
Walt Disney World Marathon, so let's chat about when we'll both be able to make those bookings when they open up on May 31.
So, here's what we know: the
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations phone line will be opening at 7:00 a.m. Eastern on May 31 but we don't have any information yet about when reservations will become available for online booking. I would expect it to be around that same time or maybe even slightly earlier, but we don't have any official information to share about that. If you want to be among the first to book a vacation package for 2024, you can probably do so between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. on May 31 or you can call the booking hotline when it opens at 7:00 a.m.
With that said, I don't think you need to worry about being first in line in order to book your vacation. There are dozens of places to stay in the
Disney Resorts Collection and tens of thousands of rooms available to choose from, so it's very rare that any individual week or timeframe will sell out immediately when the booking window opens. You have plenty of time to get some breakfast and pour yourself some coffee before you sit down at your computer to plan your vacation!
