Welcome to planDisney! Maybe it’s the fresh Mickey-shaped Beignets or the smooth jazzy tunes at Scat Cat’s Club, but there is something special about
Disney’s Port Orleans Resort-French Quarter. There really is no better place to celebrate Mardi Gras than that little slice of Bayou paradise.
Unfortunately, the details of this year’s Mardi Gras Parade are still under wraps. I spoke to a Cast Member, and they recommend checking in the lobby upon arrival for your vacation. The activity boards will provide specific timing details. If it helps, I know that in the past, the parade kicked off around mid-morning (around 10 am) over at
Disney’s Port Orleans Resort-Riverside before making its way over to Port Orleans-French Quarter.
I wish I could be more helpful, Louis, but hopefully, the Cast Members at check-in can give you a definitive answer. Be sure to get there a little early and grab a Beignet Sundae from
Scat Cat’s Club-Café. It will be the perfect accompaniment to the Mardi Gras celebration.
