Greetings, Gary! Thanks for stopping by planDisney!
It sounds like you’re getting ready for a fun-filled trip to the Magic Kingdom! Hot dog! Whether you are 1 or 101, there is something for everyone at the most magical place on Earth. Will you start your day with a trip down jungle rivers? Or maybe blast-off through the stars? The magical possibilities are endless!
The entry time for Magic Kingdom—and all of the Walt Disney World theme parks—changes throughout the year, which means the answer to your question is determined by when you plan to visit. You’ll find all of the park hours on the
Hours and Events Calendar, which allows you to see the operating hours for the theme parks, water parks, Disney Springs, and ESPN Wide World of Sports (all times and information is subject to change).
It’s worth noting that
Early Entry, which is displayed right above the park hours in the calendar, is a perk for Walt Disney World Resort hotel guests, allowing them to enter the parks 30 minutes before official opening. It is not available to those with standard theme park tickets.
Along with the Hours and Events Calendar, there are a few other resources you’ll want to explore as you begin to plan your Walt Disney World adventure. Be sure to check out the
special offers page for discounts on tickets and hotel rooms, as well as the
Disney Parks Blog for news about upcoming deals. You can also find all sorts of useful guides and tips on the
planDisney Instagram page.
Gary, I hope this information helps you plan a fantastic Walt Disney World vacation. You can always pop right back to planDisney if you have more questions or are looking for recommendations on attractions, hotels, and dining. Your planDisney pals are here to help!
Magical travels!
Matt
