Hey there and welcome to planDisney, Brittney. Thanks for dropping by to ask us this question. I hope you've been enjoying your magical year as a
Magic Key holder.
It sounds like you may have already decided to unlock another year of magic and renew your Magic Key pass. Yay! I fully support this decision. Magic Key passes can be renewed up to 30 days before their expiration date. You can use your pass to visit the theme parks on its expiration date as well as renew your pass on this day.
If possible, I strongly recommend not waiting until the last day and
renewing your pass as soon as you can. Renewing in advance will give you some wiggle room in case you run into any technical challenges. Once your Magic Key pass has expired, it can no longer be renewed and you will have to purchase a new Magic Key pass. With Magic Key sales currently paused, it'd be a shame to miss out on the magic. On the plus side, once you've renewed your pass, you can immediately start making theme park reservations for your new pass beyond the expiration date of your current Magic Key pass.
There are so many
magical events planned for 2024 at the Disneyland Resort. I can't wait to see what's in store for Magic Key holders. I always like to check the portal for Magic Key holders in the
Disneyland app during my visits for any exclusive offerings.
Brittney, I hope this helps with your planning as you are getting ready to renew your Magic Key pass. Here's to another year filled with magic at the Happiest Place on Earth!
