Hi Aimee,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question!
How exciting, I’m pretty sure you’ll have a phenomenal time on
Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour! Not only will you get to see the
Magic Kingdom Park in a new way, but you’ll also be one of the few guests who get to see the Utilidor system!
Monorails from the Transportation and Ticket Center begin running around 30 minutes before the earliest Theme Park opening. Since
Disney Resorts Collection hotel guests can access the Theme Park 30 minutes early, the monorails should be running by 8:00 a.m. which means the Transportation and Ticket Center should be open around that time, or maybe a bit earlier if you’re parking your car.
Since you need to be inside the Theme Park at 7:45 a.m., I suggest having a guest in your party drop you off closer to Magic Kingdom Park. They could drive you to
Disney’s Contemporary Resort and you can walk right over to the Magic Kingdom. If your driver needs to turn around in the Resort’s parking lot, they should let the Cast Member at the entrance gate know and the Cast Member should allow them to turn around. If you happen to be traveling alone, you could always do a ride share to Disney’s Contemporary Resort and do the same thing. With either approach, you won’t be waiting on the monorail and risk missing the first part of the tour!
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you prepare for your Tour, it will definitely be an experience to remember.
If you have any other vacation or planning questions, please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
