Hey, Janette and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so excited about your summer vacation of fun, sun, and magic at Walt Disney World Resort.
One of my favorite shows is the
Electrical Water Pageant lighting up the Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake. I get a huge smile on my face as over 50,000 lights sparkle across the water and try to catch this show every trip. Pageant times vary seasonally and I advise checking with your Disney Resort hotel front desk regarding showtimes. You may also check the My Disney Experience mobile app that day for times. Remember this is an outdoor show and subject to weather. While there is a show outside of Magic Kingdom Park during
extended theme park hours the best views are from the Resorts on the shores of the Seven Seas Lagoon or Bay Lake. My favorite is just out the back doors of the Boca Chica building at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Wow! what a view. I suggest reviewing the time when the show is at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and take the monorail from Magic Kingdom Park then return for
Happily Ever After fireworks. Plan on a comfortable 40 minutes of travel time to get to your pageant viewing spot.
At Magic Kingdom Park, all Guests using the Walt Disney World Bus Service/Minnie Van Service are dropped off and picked up just outside the main entrance where the bus depot is located. You save about 20 minutes of time because you do not need the monorail or ferry boat. The Transportation and Ticket Center is for Guests with personal transportation or using third-party services like Uber/Lyft.
Janette, enjoy making many Magical Memories.
