What time should we leave Yacht Club to go to Animal Kingdom for extra magic hours at 8am? How long does it take and what is the best way to travel there?

    Hi Jennifer,

I just stayed at Disney's Yacht Club Resort two months ago and it was wonderful.  You're going to enjoy this truly spectacular resort!

Using complimentary Disney transportation to the Animal Kingdom is fast and easy.  The buses will start running to the Animal Kingdom an hour before the park opens, but you don't need to board the bus that early.  I would probably head to the bus stop at the Yacht Club at 7:30 am.  That should get you to the park by opening time.  Of course, as guests at a Disney resort, you are welcome to drive your own car and park free of charge at the theme park.  I estimate that would only take 15-20 minutes.

Enjoy your day at Disney's Animal Kingdom!
