Hi Jessica!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like you may be taking advantage of the opportunity to tack on a few days at
Walt Disney World before relaxing aboard a Disney Cruise Line ship! What memories you and your family will make on this trip!
Ground transfers through Disney Cruise Line are booked as “one way tickets”. If you have arranged for transfers TO Port Canaveral through Disney Cruise Line, you will notified what time your bus will pick you up from your resort. You should receive this information at your Resort the night before your cruise departs. If you are arranging your own transportation to Port Canaveral on embarkation day, you will want to arrive at the Port based on your Port Arrival Time that you will choose when you complete your Online Check-In.
First time cruisers can begin their check-in 75 days prior to sailing.
If you have only reserved Ground Transfers for one leg of your trip, you can add the other portion by contacting Disney Cruise Line, although I would recommend doing that sooner than later so you don’t forget!
If you haven’t heard about the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app, download it prior to your ship. You will be able to access daily activities, menus, showtimes as well as deck plans and hours of operation for different venues onboard.
My number one tip for a first time cruiser is to make a point to visit the
Future Cruise desk onboard where you can book another Disney Cruise. Don't forget to set your cruise countdown on the Navigator app before you get off the ship for your next adventure at sea!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
