how much time should I leave between fast pass selections

    Hi, Sheila!

Thanks so much for sending this great question to us at Disney Parks Moms Panel!

When making plans to visit Walt Disney World, it's a great idea to plan as much ahead of time as you can. Personally, I like to arrange our park days by selecting the earliest FastPass+ options that fit into our schedule. Early morning breakfast? Select a FastPass+ option that starts about an hour after your dining reservation begins. Had a late night closing down Magic Kingdom Park at midnight? Sleep in a little the next day and maybe start your earliest FastPass+ at 10:00.

I try to close the window between FastPass+ times as much as possible, having one begin right after another ends. If you can get to the first attraction at or near the start of your one-hour window, you should have plenty of time to enjoy the experience, take a leisurely walk to your next FastPass+ attraction, and arrive before the start time even begins. Use the restroom, grab a snack, or check out some shops along the way, too, if you'd like. You have one hour to enter the next attraction, so enjoy your time!

Once you have experienced the last of your three FastPass+ attractions, you will be able to add a fourth FastPass+ in any park. See what's available, and select according to the rest of your plans, whether that includes more time in your current location or a hop over to another park. Once you have experienced that fourth FastPass+, you can add a fifth...and so on!

Having finished that third FastPass+ experience earlier in the day enables you to enjoy more opportunities later in the day; that's why I recommend getting them in as early as possible, if that fits into the rest of your plans.

An exception to closing all gaps between FastPass+ plans is if we have a reservation late morning or early afternoon. Have a mid-morning appointment with the Gatherers at Savi's Workshop-Handbuilt Lightsabers at the Walt Disney World Resort, or a late breakfast at Be Our Guest Restaurant? Leave an appropriate gap of time between FastPass+ plans, and enjoy your time in all experiences.

Should you have more questions regarding FastPass+ or any other aspect of planning your magical stay, please send them our way, Sheila. We love to help!
