I want as much time as I can get and I'm a little worried about waiting for the Disney buses. Is it unreasonable to take taxis everywhere and are they available at all parks/resorts/Downtown Disney? Thanks!

    Hi Linda,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I'm not sure where you are staying, but the bus transportation can definitely be convenient. Although you absolutely can take cabs pretty much everywhere (they are usually readily available at the parks and resorts), you don't need to.

If you do decide to take cabs, keep in mind that taxis drop off/pick up at the Ticket and Transportation Center, not at the front entrance of the Magic Kingdom. So, you'd still need to take the monorail or boat directly to the Magic Kingdom. Because of that, I usually find the buses to be more convenient for travel to and from the Magic Kingdom.

I hope that helps! Have a great vacation!
