Hi Jecenia, welcome to planDisney!
Once upon a time, there was a girl who fell in love with
Happily Ever After at Magic Kingdom Park. The inspirational storytelling, captivating arrangements of familiar melodies, and perfectly timed animation on Cinderella Castle and in the sky make her heart soar and her dreams feel within reach. She once arrived at Orlando International Airport at 6:00 p.m. and used a precious park ticket just to experience Happily Ever After on her arrival day. Confession time, Jecenia. I am that girl! I absolutely adore Happily Ever After and would love to share my best tips for experiencing this nighttime spectacular with you.
The
Walt Disney World Resort Hours and Events Calendar currently shows park hours and Happily Ever After showtimes through February 27, 2024. In my experience, park hours and showtimes are typically posted 60-75 days in advance, which means they can magically appear for your travel date at any time. For reference, Happily Ever After takes place at 8:00 p.m. the week before your arrival and Disney Enchantment occurred at 8:15 p.m. in Magic Kingdom Park on February 28, 2023.
Let's talk location. I've had the pleasure of seeing Happily Ever After from many angles. I love viewing the projections from right in front of Cinderella Castle, though it's harder to see the fireworks and the big picture. I enjoy watching Happily Ever After from Main Street, U.S.A., though it's harder to see the projections on Cinderella Castle, especially if you're standing behind someone taller than you. When fireworks aren't the main priority, I love watching Happily Ever After from Fantasyland as I soar on
Dumbo the Flying Elephant and walk between attractions. My family most recently splurged and admired Happily Ever After from the comfort of our own seats at the
Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Party: Seats and Sweets. Reservations for this popular experience can be made online up to 60 days in advance beginning at midnight. My best tip for your Happily Ever After viewing experience is to grab a snack and claim your spot in the hub in front of Cinderella Castle at least 60 minutes before the show. Make sure there aren't any trees blocking your view of the castle. Soak in your surroundings, make friends with your neighbors, take lots of pictures, and prepare for your heart to explode when you hear the first dramatic downbeat signaling the start of the show. That's when your story really comes alive!
As you countdown the days until Happily Ever After, Jecenia, you can count on planDisney to answer any other trip-planning questions.
