What time does the guest relations/ ecv rental open?

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Cynthia! You’re as welcome as can be to planDisney! Thanks so much for stopping by with another great question.

You’re just a couple days away from your arrival at the Happiest Place on Earth, and I couldn’t be more excited for you! To get started, here’s the Entertainment Schedule for your arrival day, so you can start mapping out your magical plans. Currently, both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park are scheduled to open at 8:00 AM. Typically, ECV and Wheelchair Rentals tend to open about an hour before the parks open, so you can get situated before your adventures begin. Just keep in mind that ECVs are available for rent on a first-come, first-served basis, and they can’t be reserved ahead of time.

Depending on which direction you’ll be coming from, there are currently two ECV rental locations. ECVs can be rented just outside the theme parks, to the right of the Disneyland Park Main Entrance, adjacent to Stroller Rentals. Or, if you plan to stay off-property and park in the Mickey & Friends or Pixar Pals parking structure, you can also rent an ECV at the bottom of the structure, just before entering security. I anticipate that this option will be changing soon, since the Disneyland Resort Trams are set to resume operation next week on February 23, 2022, but in the meantime, this remains an option for you.

If, on the other hand, you prefer to have an ECV with you continuously throughout your stay, you can also choose to rent through our Disney Featured Provider, ScooterBug, a private mobility rental company in Anaheim. ScooterBug provides length-of-stay rentals for Guests staying at the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort. For more information, you can visit ScooterBug.com/Anaheim or call (800) 726-8284.

Last but not least, I recommend checking out this page to learn more about the many services available to Guests with mobility disabilities. I hope this information helps you have a comfortable, stress-free visit to the Disneyland Resort, Cynthia!

Can’t wait to see ya’ real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Greetings from sunny California! I live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder (and now a Magic Key Passholder) for more than 20 years! As a mom of three kids ages 5-10, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Learn More About Kristin
