Jambo Judy!
We are as proud as Mufasa at Pride Rock to have you here at planDisney! Sounds like you have a Disney cruise on the horizon departing from Port Canaveral. Having your transportation all arranged in advance means “Hakuna Matata” (no worries) while on vacation. And isn’t that the point of enjoying travel to remove stress and have fun?
The advantages to
Disney Cruise Line ground transportation are not having to worry about getting from Point A to Point B even with a big group and the peace of mind knowing that Captain Mickey has everything under control. Ground transfers can be added by
contacting Disney Cruise Line or your travel agent at least three days prior to your voyage. This includes transportation from Orlando International Airport to Port Canaveral and vice versa.
These buses will be faster than a wildebeest stampede in getting you and your luggage to Port Canaveral. Reservations are required, so I recommend booking these transfers as soon as you are certain this is the method of transportation you’d like to use. My family really loves the convenience of these buses, and I appreciate not having to drive and letting someone else be in charge of getting us there!
Times are always subject to change, but I am told that the earliest buses leave Orlando International Airport for Port Canaveral starting at 9:30 A.M. With the earliest port arrival times for some sailings being 11:00 A.M., it’s not like you can begin the check-in process any earlier than that time, and having the earliest motor coach from the airport will dovetail nicely with an early port arrival time. Be sure to coordinate your ground transportation and port arrival times as Guests are not currently being allowed to the port terminal before their allotted time. Read all about it under the
Embarkation Day tab for the Disney Cruise Line Experience Updates.
Journey back to planDisney as you continue your vacation planning. We take great “pride” in being able to answer questions about Disney cruising.
"Asante Sana" (thank you)!
