what are the time frames of the behind the scene steam rail tour? how early does it start and about when does it end?

    Hi Jack!

Disney's The Magic Behind our Steam Train Tour is such a classic!  The tour begins at 7:30 AM Monday through Saturday and lasts approximately 3 hours.  Guests will get to enter the Magic Kingdom before it is open to the public and check out the folks preparing the trains for another wonderful day of service.  I won't give away too much, but this tour is absolutely a must do for any train lovers in your group.  As of now, the cost is $49.00 plus tax and can be booked by calling 1-407-WDW-TOUR.

I also wanted to mention something else that you may be interested in.  If you take a boat ride from the Magic Kingdom to the Wilderness Lodge Villas you can visit the Carolwood Pacific Railroad Room.  This is a wonderful room dedicated to Walt Disney's lifelong passion for trains.  Model trains, some from Walt's personal collection, are on display in this cozy retreat.  Best of all, it is completely FREE to tour!

I hope that you have a wonderful vacation and keep those questions coming!
