    What time do the Fort Wilderness Campground busses start running? (NOT the busses from the campground to the Parks)

    Hi Nancy-Jo! I happen to be staying in Fort Wilderness now in our motor coach and since we are early risers I know when the buses begin!

    Generally they state that the buses will begin at 6:45am but often they will begin just a bit earlier so if you have an early dining reservation then I suggest guests be ready at 6:30 so they are on the first one.  The boats to the Contemporary and Wilderness Lodge begin at 6:45 as well since so many guests have Chef Mickey reservations for breakfast. The park boat does not begin until about 30 minutes before park opening time.

    There are three internal routes with the orange being the main line for the cabins and the main road passing the camping loops to Pioneer Hall. The yellow line is the one that will head back to the loops located behind the Bike Barn and pool. The purple loop will take care of the group campers and the tent camping loop.
