What time is food available on the first day ( departure day) ? Wondering if my kids should have lunch before we get to port canaveral or once we are in the ship. Thanks!

    Ahoy, Leonard!
No need to worry about feeding your kids before boarding the ship, and feel free to board with an empty stomach! You'll feast on a fabulous lunch as soon as you board, and it's included in the cost of your cruise.

When you arrive at the cruise terminal, you'll receive a Personal Navigator - a daily schedule with times and locations for all the fun activities happening onboard the ship. With a quick look at the "Dining and Lounges" section, you'll find a list of all the spots you can grab lunch after you board. The restaurants begin serving lunch at 12:00pm, and will serve until 3pm, giving guests time to prepare for the mandatory Boat Drill (around 4pm).

You can choose from two buffet locations for lunch, as well as several quick-service locations around the pool deck. You and your family are sure to find plenty of delicious offerings to satisfy your appetites. Make sure to save room for the all-you-care-to-enjoy soft-serve ice cream station for a sweet treat after lunch!

You'll continue to be amazed and delighted by all the incredible dining options throughout your cruise. If you're ever torn between two entrees on your dinner menu, ask your server what he/she recommends. Sometimes they might surprise you and bring a taste of both! Also,  it's perfectly acceptable to order two desserts - you're on vacation!

I hope you and your family have a wonderful time sailing with Captain Mickey. Please come back and visit us here at the Moms Panel if you have further questions as you plan!
    Have a magical day! - Diane W.
