Howdy Robyn!
Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for moseying on by with your question today. This resort evokes the timeless beauty of the American Frontier, which Walt Disney so dearly loved. I like to think that this would be one of his favorite resorts to spend his time at. Now, let’s see if we can help you with an answer so you can enjoy your time there as well.
Alrighty, so all complimentary
Resort Transportation begins operating about 45 minutes before the Disney theme park opens. So if Early Entry to the Magic Kingdom is at 8:30 AM, you can expect the first Water Taxi to arrive for pickup around 7:45 AM. I would highly recommend that you arrive early at the pickup location, as this is a fun and popular way to get to the parks, and you will want to try and get on the first one so you can get in line for rope drop.
If you decide to hop between parks, you can start taking the bus at 10 AM. You can find the bus stop number on the signs as you approach the bus pick-up area.
If you are still looking to make dining plans, I would love to recommend a fun frontier family-style dinner experience. The
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is a high-spirited music and comedy revue accompanied by a fantastic feast. This rambunctious show, led by the Pioneer Hall Players, features 2 hours of rousing dancing, singing, and zany comedy. The menu lets you chow down on an all-you-care-to-enjoy frontier-inspired food and drinks. It’s a dinner experience that I hear people talk about over and over again.
Robyn, I hope this helps and that you and your family have a magical time visiting Walt Disney World. If you have any further questions, please stop by here at
planDisney, and we’ll be happy to help.
See ya real soon,
Robert
