What time does the first bus to the parks leave from port Orleans riverside in the mornings? And what stop at the resort do they pick up from first?

    Hi Cheryl,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

Walt Disney World Bus Service typically starts quite early in the morning to allow Guests to get to their early morning breakfast dining reservations. What I would recommend for you and your family: ask the Lobby Concierge at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - Riverside what the early morning transportation schedule will be on the day that you would like to get an early start to your Disney Day. They’ll be happy to help you out and might even be able to give you the precise time that the first bus will be leaving your hotel to head to the Theme Park.

As for the order of the stops at Riverside, I find that order can be quite variable, depending on the time of day and how busy the bus system is. As a general rule, from what I understand, if the bus doesn’t pick Guests up at neighbouring Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter first, then the first stop on the route is the “West Depot”, although the Disney Springs bus typically starts at the “South Depot” (which is where the Resort’s Lobby area is located).

I hope my answer helps you better plan your transportation around Walt Disney World Resort during your upcoming vacation. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
