What time does the first bus leave Port Orleans French Quarter?

Hello and welcome to planDisney, Bryson. Thanks for stopping by with your question. I see that your trip to the Most Magical Place On Earth is in just a few short weeks. I bet you are getting so excited!

Bryson, you've picked a wonderful resort to stay at during your trip. I absolutely love Disney's Port Orleans Resort French Quarter. Be sure to swing by the Cafe at Scat Cat's Club for some delicious beignets. They serve them up all day long from about 7:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. each day. The Mickey-shaped ones are my favorite.

Transportation to the Walt Disney World Theme Parks starts running about 45 minutes prior to that park's scheduled opening time. I can't give you a specific time since it really does vary, but if you look at the Walt Disney World Theme Park calendar that shows the hours of operations you should be able to plan out what time you'll need to be up and ready by from there. I'm an early bird when it comes to the Walt Disney World Theme Parks, Bryson. I like to get there as soon as possible and cross off all of my must-do's before the parks tend to get busy for the day. Because of this, I like to be on the first bus over to the theme parks. To do this, I recommend getting to the bus stop area about one hour prior to the theme park's opening time to be one of the first few people in line.

I hope this helps you plan your day a little bit better. If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'm happy to help.

    Have fun!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
