Greetings, Heather!
Welcome to planDisney! A springtime visit to
Fort Wilderness Resort is the perfect blend of magical adventures and quiet retreat. And sailing across Seven Seas Lagoon is a great way to start the day!
Catching the first boat of the morning is an excellent plan. You'll make it over to Magic Kingdom with plenty of time to make rope drop, and take a few great photos on Main Street while making your way to your favorite attraction.
Water taxis run every 15 to 30 minutes, and the first departure of the day is traditionally 45 minutes before park opening. Magic Kingdom is scheduled to open for early entry on March 31st at 8:30 AM. Keep in mind that park hours may change, so be sure to check your
My Disney Experience app to confirm park hours the night before! I would plan on arriving at the dock one hour before the park opens. I know this sounds early, but in my experience, there will be several other Guests with the same plan. If you want to make that first boat, being early is key. Bring a cup of coffee, and enjoy the early morning view vibes!
During your time at Fort Wilderness, I recommend setting aside an evening to attend the
Hoop-Dee- Doo Music Revue. The show is full of whimsical energy and laughs. The food is also all you care to enjoy, and absolutely delicious. Another highlight of this resort is the
Tri-Circle-D Ranch. Stopping by to see Cinderella's Ponies is an extra special way to bring a little magic to your stay.
We'll see ya real soon!
