What time do the fireworks start? I'm taking my 2 granddaughters (5 and 1) for their first visit to Disney World and want to make sure we make at least one of the fireworks displays while we are there (arrive 9/27/12 for 3 nights).

Hi Maureen!  The fireworks at Disney World are spectacular!  You are right that you need to see them at least once!

There are actually two different nightly firework shows.  One is at Epcot and one is at the Magic Kingdom.  For your visit, the fireworks are scheduled nightly at Magic Kingdom at 10:00 p.m., and nightly at Epcot at 9 p.m.  Times are always subject to change, so when you get to Disney World, just pick up a "times guide" that will have the updated listing for your visit.

Both shows are amazing!  Check out the Disney World website for more information about Wishes Nighttime Spectacular at Magic Kingdom and IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth at Epcot

If you can, try to take your granddaughters to see them both!  Have a great trip and let me know if you have any other questions!
