What time is the fireworks at Magic Kingdom so I’ll know when to book our dinner at the Cinderella

Hi there, Tammy, and thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question! Before you know it, you'll be celebrating summer at the Most Magical Place on Earth, and there's nothing more iconic than ending a day at the Walt Disney World Resort than watching the fireworks illuminate the sky over Cinderella Castle!

Tammy, Happily Ever After currently takes place nightly at 9:20 PM in Magic Kingdom Park. Of course, times are always subject to change, so you will want to keep an eye on the Park Hours and Events Calendar online in these next two weeks leading up to your arrival! Your visit also coincides with the Fourth of July holiday, and Disney will be hosting a special fireworks show, Disney's Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky, at Magic Kingdom Park on July 3 and July 4, also scheduled for 9:20 PM. You can read more about this special entertainment event and all of the other patriotic fun surrounding the upcoming holiday on the Disney Parks Blog!

If you'll be dining at Cinderella's Royal Table, it is recommended to allow at least 90 minutes to enjoy this signature dining experience without feeling rushed. Additionally, if you would like to secure a viewing spot for the fireworks, it is recommended to exit the castle at least 20 minutes before showtime. Keep in mind that the area around Cinderella Castle will be roped off shortly before the fireworks begin, so you will want to allow enough time to exit into the crowd and secure your spot. With all of this in mind, I would suggest booking your reservation for no later than 7 PM.

Tammy, I hope this helps and I hope you are able to find the perfect reservation inside of Cinderella Castle during your upcoming visit! One last thing I will share with you - you can also see some of the fireworks from inside the castle! While they won't be surrounding you, and the vantage point is different, the music is piped into the restaurant and there's something unique and magical about watching the fireworks through the stained glass windows of the castle walls. No matter where you end up, I hope you feel the magic as you reach out and find your Happily Ever After!

    See you real soon,
    Alison
