What time do the fire dancers "welcome the night" for guests at the Polynesian hotel? I'm not referring to the ticketed luau but the free nightly ceremony. Also where should a family with young kids stand to get a good view of the fire-dancing?

    Hi, Kathleen!

Or should I say "Aloha!"  There is usually a torch lighting ceremony Tuesdays through Saturdays in or near the lobby area. It has always been at 6:00 p.m. when I have stayed at Polynesian, but times are subject to change.  Check with a friendly Cast Member at the front desk for exact times and locations of this fun Polynesian experience.

For a complete night of fun, you might want to investigate the Spirit of Aloha show, a full Luau complete with dinner, dancing, and entertainment.   Enjoy your time at the beautiful Polynesian Resort.

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
