Welcome to planDisney, Leroy!
We’re so glad to hear from you, and hope that you’re getting excited for your upcoming vacation to Walt Disney World! We typically experience warm days and afternoon rain in September, so be sure to pack cool clothing and something to protect you from the rain!
You’re going to love your stay at
All-Star Movies, Leroy! It’s really a great place, and the atmosphere is charming. I’m sad to say that there is not a fitness facility at All-Star Movies — in fact, none of the value resort hotels at Disney World host a fitness center at this time. I recommend asking the Front Desk upon arrival if there are any day passes available for other Disney Resort hotel’s fitness facilities. I’m crossing my fingers for you, Leroy!
Even though there is not a gym, you’re not completely out for your 3 week stay. There are lots of jogging paths around the hotel that you’re welcome to jog or walk on, you can
swim some laps in the pool (I would recommend going right when they open in the morning), or you could use a grassy area to complete a bodyweight circuit training. You may also consider bringing a resistance band or two with you to add a little extra to your bodyweight training. There is also a playground at the resort that you might want to check out to see if they have monkey bars or high bars for pull ups.
Remember that you’ll be taking lots of steps during the day, Leroy. You can utilize that time on your feet for a little strength training by holding all of the bags for your party, or (if you’re traveling with children) carrying around a kid.
If you have additional questions, we hope you’ll visit us again here at planDisney!
