How much time does a fast pass save on a ride line that is 2 hours long?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Jill ~

I am a huge fan and big believer in Disney FastPass+ service! If there is an attraction where the standby line is 2 hours long, you could save 1 1/2 hours wait time. When we were at Animal Kingdom a few weeks ago, the standby queue for Avatar Flight of Passage was 180 minutes. With our FastPass+, we were on in less than 40 minutes.

There are times when the FastPass+ lines can get a little backed up because a lot of Guests may show up at the same time and cause a brief overload of the attraction. If that happens and you still have time in your FastPass+ return time window, you can go ahead and get in line or come back in a few minutes. There are always times there will be exceptions to any of this, but all in all, Disney FastPass+ is awesome and well worth it.

If you plan to stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you can start making your Disney FastPass+ selections as early as 60 days prior to your check-in date. Before you can do that, you will need to link your resort reservation confirmation number and theme park tickets to your My Disney Experience account. You can initially make up to three FastPass+ selections. Once you have redeemed your final FastPass+ selection, you can make additional FastPass+ selections (one at a time). If you plan to park hop, you can make your additional FastPass+ selections in another theme park that you plan to visit later in the day. All FastPass+ selections are subject to availability and can be made at a FastPass+ kiosk inside a theme park or by using the My Disney Experience mobile app.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
