    Hi, it is my 1st time with my family to Disney, we are staying in the Disney Carribean resort, can oyu reccommend which village is the best to stay in as I've seen on trip advisor that some are nearer and better many thanks

    Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

    Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is a lush, tropical and expansive paradise nestled amidst the Walt Disney World Resort. 

    Your best bet to ensure an 'ideal' location on property, would be to change your accommodation type to be 'Preferred Room' location. You can then place a note on file "requesting" the buildings or Villages that you're most interested in. 

    Even without a 'Preferred Location' reservation, you can still place a request on file however your request cannot be guaranteed. Cast Members will do their best to meet your requests when rooms are assigned based on resort availability at that time. Call (407) 939-7675 to upgrade and/or place your note on file.

    Now, as far as where you might want to request your room to be located... I have a few recommendations. Generally speaking, the preferred rooms are usually assigned in the Martinique village which is adjacent to Old Port Royale: the resort's hub and location of the feature pool, dining and shopping. In my opinion, rooms that are equally appealing and not requiring a 'preferred location' upgrade are those in the Jamaica and Aruba villages. These are directly across the lake from Old Port Royale, connected via footbridge. 

    If you'd like to see a detailed map of the resort, try searching 'Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort Map' under images in your browser. You'll be able to see exactly what I'm referencing above. You'll also be able to see the locations of all of the resort's bus stops.
