Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Andrea! Boo to you and Happy Halloween!
I woke up singing “it’s good to be bad,” and I’m wearing my Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party t-shirt today, which means I’m SO ready to help you make the most of every magical minute of your party time. I see you arrived TODAY, which means you’ll be joining the party so soon!
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party begins at 7:00 p.m., and that’s when all the happy haunts begin to materialize all around Magic Kingdom Park. In my experience, you’ll be able to enter the park as early as 4:00 p.m. with your
party ticket, but note that the frightful festivities, including trick-or-treat stations, costumed characters, and spooky ride overlays, don’t begin until the party kicks off. You'll receive a party wristband when you enter Magic Kingdom Park, which lets Cast Members know you are an invited party Guest and not a hitchhiking ghost.
I highly recommend eating dinner before the party begins so you’re able to fully enjoy all the party-exclusive experiences. I attended the party twice last year, and my big takeaway is that making a plan for the party is really important. Figure out your highest priority items and then make a plan of attack so you can fit them in to your spook-tacular night without criss-crossing Magic Kingdom Park. My can’t-miss activities are the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular,
Mickey’s "Boo-To-You" Halloween Parade, and
Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular fireworks show. Attractions with special Halloween enhancements like the
Haunted Mansion,
Pirates of the Caribbean, and
Space Mountain are high on my list too! They are so much fun!
Andrea, have so much fun trick-or-treating all around Magic Kingdom Park at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
