What time can I enter the Magic Kingdom prior to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party? We have not planned to attend the park other than to attend the party, we do not have tickets to the Magic Kingdom other than to the MNSSHP.

Hi Pamela! I'm glad to hear that you will be visiting the Magic Kingdom during the great Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. It is truly one of my favorite times in the park all year.

Technically the party begins at 7pm but in the past you have been granted early access starting anywhere around 4pm. Many guests like to make advanced dining reservations in the park where they can eat dinner and then be ready to party at 7pm. Entering at this early time is not written in stone and is only a guide from the past. We never know what changes might take place with each new year. When you check into your resort you might consider asking the concierge if they are aware of new guidelines.

Be sure and be there for the parade and fireworks. This parade is one of my favorite of the year and I especially love the gravediggers and skeletons float. My other advice is for you to have the family come dressed in costume. It really makes it fun and festive!
