Hakuna Matata, Andrew and welcome to planDisney!
Andrew, there is nothing quite like a stay at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas- Kidani Village. My family and I just stayed there this past August and loved feeling like we were in the middle of the Serengeti! And... this resort also happens to be the location of one of my favorite restaurants at Walt Disney World...
Sanaa! Andrew, if you like Indian-inspired dishes with an unforgettable view, there is no better place for breakfast, lunch or dinner!
Now, let's get to your question about hitting the parks by using
Disney Bus Transportation. Andrew, my family and I love leaving our keys at home and putting Mickey Mouse in the driver's seat, so I'm happy to help navigate your plans!
First, when you are planning your park arrival, it's important to note that
buses will begin approximately 45 minutes prior to park opening, so make sure to
check those park hours if you're hoping to be there for "rope drop." Andrew, I like to be at the bus stop about an hour before, just in case Tinker Bell changed all the stop lights to green that day.
From your resort, your quickest trip will be to
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. We clocked our last ride at just under 10 minutes. Make sure to budget more time when you're traveling to
EPCOT,
Disney's Hollywood Studios and
Magic Kingdom Park as you'll find you'll spend 15-30 minutes, respectively, on the bus to these destinations. If it's easier to think in terms of distance, take a look at these estimates from Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge:
- to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park: 2 miles
- to Disney's Hollywood Studios: 6 miles
- to EPCOT: 8 miles
- to Magic Kingdom Park: 12 miles
Andrew, I hope this helps as you are planning out your park days. Make sure to motor on back to planDisney with any other questions. We are all gEARed up to help.
