HI, 1st time to DW 6/3/12 w/my 6 yr old daughter. What Disney resort would be recommended since its just her & I? I only need 1 bed for the both of us. I'm just not sure if the value resort or the moderate resorts would be better? What are chk in/out ti

    Hi Ashley!

You two are going to have sooo much fun on your girls' trip!!!  I think that you will have a fantastic time at either the Value or Moderate Resorts - both will have plenty of room for the two of you.  While I LOVE the moderate resorts, you just can't beat the convenience of having a dedicated bus line.  Both the Pop Century and the brand new Art of Animation Resort have their own bus that won't stop at any other resort.  This makes your travel time sooo much shorter!  Those two Value Resorts also have fantastic food courts and over the top pools!

If you want to splurge and stay in a Moderate Resort, my vote would go to Port Orleans French Quarter!  It is the smallest resort on Disney property and even the most remote rooms are a short stroll away from all of the action.  French Quarter does share a bus with its sister resort, Riverside, but the bus stops at French Quarter first - yay!

I hope that the two of you have a fabulous vacation - keep those questions coming!
