Hey There, Michelle!
I'm so glad you've found your way to planDisney. Is there anything more exciting than the morning that your Disney Vacation Club Resort booking window opens (well, besides arriving for your Disney vacation, of course!)? Once you've selected those magical dates, the vacation-planning fun can really begin!
Whether you're booking your reservation during the
Home Resort Priority Period or at the 7-month mark for all other Resorts, you'll be able to begin making reservations for up to seven consecutive nights at 8:00 AM EST on the morning your booking window opens. While this can be done over the phone by calling Member Services at (800) 800-9800, I recommend using the booking portal on the Disney Vacation Club website for a much easier booking experience. Not only can wait times be lengthy to speak with a Member Services Cast Member over the phone, but
Member Services doesn't open until 9:00 AM EST –– a full hour after the booking window opens.
Since spring is a
very busy time at many
Disney Vacation Club Resorts, I think it's a great idea that you're planning to book a reservation right when your 11-month booking window opens. Remember, you can easily modify your reservation online if your plans change or if you'd like to switch to a different Resort once the 7-month mark. Just be sure to keep an eye on the calendar if you're modifying or canceling a reservation closer to your arrival date –– when making changes to a reservation 30 days or less before check-in, any unused Vacation Points from that reservation will be placed into a
Holding Account and must be used by the end of your Use Year.
Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Michelle. I hope you find the perfect reservation and that your upcoming visit is filled with Membership magic from start to finish!
See Ya Real Soon,
Amy
