Hello Amy,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It has been a while since your last question, and now your kids are all grown up.
My father asked me the very same question last year when he visited with my 12-year-old sister, and they decided to stay for 4 nights at a Disney Resort hotel with a 3-day Ticket with Park Hopper Option. There is so much to see and do with new experiences like
Pandora - The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
They spent a lot of time at Magic Kingdom Park, and she loved the new additions to Fantasyland, like the
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. It was also a lot of fun to experience Star Wars action at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and she was absolutely thrilled about all the shopping and dining options at Disney Springs.
Speaking of dining, even if I tried, I would never be able to be a light eater at the Walt Disney World Resort. There are too many great options, that’s why I always add a
Dining Plan to our Magic Your Way vacation package. If you are light eaters, you can choose the Quick-Service Dining Plan, which gives two quick-service meals and two snacks for each person staying in your party for each night of your visit. I usually eat breakfast at the quick-service restaurant located at my Disney Resort hotel, where I use snack credits for pastry, and the refillable drink mug for drinks. That leaves me with a quick-service entitlement for lunch and another for dinner.
I hope this helps you while planning. Please come back with more questions.
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
