Greetings and welcome to planDisney, Diane. We're so glad you stopped by with this question and it's my pleasure to help.
Food and snacks are definitely my priority when visiting the Disneyland Resort and I'm happy to help as you're thinking about where and what to eat.
Advance dining reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance for
select table-service restaurants. I chatted with a Cast Member who shared that there isn't an official time for when dining reservations are released and they can become available at any time during the day.
I'm sure you've heard (like I have) about others having luck with dining reservations being released at 6:00 a.m. Pacific Time or even 3:00 a.m Pacific Time. Since there is no guarantee and no official release time, the next time I try to make an advance dining reservation, I will probably set my alarm clock for both 3:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. Pacific Time and lift my head off my pillow to hop on the
Disneyland app and check for availability. If there aren't any new reservations available, I would recommend continually checking throughout the morning and day to see if that changes.
If aren't able to get the reservations you're looking for, don't fret. There may still be the option to join a walk-up list through the
Mobile Dine Walk-up Availability feature in the Disneyland app. This option is available at select locations and I find you have the best chance of getting on the list when you join close to the restaurant's opening time.
So get a good night's rest and get those fast fingers ready - keeping in mind this is merely a suggestion and no guarantee that reservations will be released accordingly. However, I have faith in you Diane, and will be sending all of the pixie dust your way in the hopes that you're able to get every dining reservation that is on your wish list.
If you think of any other questions as you plan your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth, please come back to visit us. Until then, have a magical day.
