1st time at Disney with our 7 year old boy. Down to 2 choices- Polynesian or Contempoary. Price is about same so looking for pros/cons to each. I know Polnesian has an awesome pool but Contempoary seems to be more conviently located. Thoughts/advice?

    Hi Eddie!!

You have two wonderful resorts to pick from!  Either one of them will definitely provide you with an awesome Walt Disney World Vacation!

I honestly can't say there are any cons to either resort, so I will just focus on the pros.  Each resort has a great variety of restaurant choices (both Quick Service and Table Service.)  They are both conveniently located on the Monorail line. Each resort is wonderfully themed and each offers its own story!!

I totally agree with what you say about Disney's Polynesian Resort having an awesome pool, but it is awfully nice to be able to walk to the Magic Kingdom from Disney's Contemporary Resort!  That might be your deciding factor.  Which one of those is more important to you?  Because everything else, in my opinion, is a draw!

I would always show pictures of each resort to your seven year old and let them pick which one appeals to them.

I know I didn't come straight out and tell you a specific resort to pick, but rest assured, you cannot go wrong with either resort!

    Have a magical trip!!
