This will be our 1st time at Disney yayy!! Are we allowed to leave out the park and come back in even though we won't be staying on one of their properties? Example if we leave for a break at 4pm can we come back for the firework show later that night

    Hi Brittany!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so excited to help you plan for your first visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Be sure to pick up complimentary First Visit buttons from any theme park Guest Relations location to help you celebrate this magical occasion. Standard Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets will allow you entry and re-entry into to one theme park for each day of your ticket, even if you aren't staying at a Disney Resort hotel. If you add the Park Hopper Option to your ticket, then you can enter multiple theme parks each day.

So you are welcome to leave a theme park to visit Disney Springs, enjoy the shopping and dining at some of the Disney Resort hotels or head back to your "home" hotel for a rest and then returning in the evening. Keep in mind that occasionally, the theme parks do hit capacity on the busiest days of the year and your ability to re-enter the theme park is not guaranteed. But unless you are planning on visiting on Christmas Day, New Years Eve or another holiday that is extremely busy, I think taking a break during your day is a great way to make the most of your trip and help everyone in your family have the energy to enjoy the incredible nighttime experiences at Walt Disney World Resort.

Please let us know if you have any other questions as you continue planning our trip. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
