Hi Peguy! Welcome to planDisney.
It always makes me so happy to help a Guest planning a first-time visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. I will never, ever forget the look in my then-toddler son's eyes when he saw Mickey Mouse for the first time, and it's such a pleasure for me to help you create magic for your little one.
If your Mouseketeer wants to meet Minnie Mouse and Doc McStuffins, you will want to visit
Disney's Hollywood Studios. The Doc is in and greeting Guests along with some Disney Junior friends in Animation Courtyard. You can find showtimes on the
See Disney Junior Pals webpage.
You can meet Minnie Mouse in her glamorous red carpet gown in Commissary Lane, just across from ABC Commissary. The times for this experience can be found on the
See Minnie at Red Carpet Dreams webpage.
While characters aren't quite ready for hugs yet, they're delighted to say hi and interact with their friends from a safe distance. You'll be able to snap a selfie or pose your kiddo for a physically distanced photo. Please see the
Returning to a World of Magic information for the most up-to-date information on character interactions and other modified experiences during the phased reopening of the Walt Disney World Resort.
Peguy, you'll need either
theme park reservations for Disney's Hollywood Studios or a ticket with the
Park Hopper Option for your visit. Theme Park Reservations are required for each Guest visiting a theme park, so be sure to make yours if you haven't already. If you're planning to start at a different park and have a Park Hopper ticket, you'll be able to "hop" over to Disney's Hollywood Studios as soon as Park Hopper Hours begin (that's currently 2:00 p.m. daily, but check the
Park Hours for the most up-to-date information).
A fun option for your visit is a meal at
Hollywood & Vine. Breakfast features Disney Junior characters, while you can meet Minnie Mouse and her friends at lunch and dinner. My kiddos loved this character dining experience when they were younger, and we have some fantastic pictures. Plus, the dining options are super kid-friendly, making it a more relaxing meal for the parents.
