Hey there Regina, I'd like to wish you a most Royal welcome to planDisney!
From the sounds of it, you just might be one of the special planDisney After Dark
folks who like to enjoy their evenings out until the very end! There's nowhere full of nightlife options quite like
Disney Springs, and I've definitely had my share of late nights whether they're spent
watching a film, taking in
concerts or just enjoying some
fantastic live entertainment under the glowing lights of The Landing or West Side districts.
Disney Springs tends to have a posted set closing hour each night, but you'll want to keep in mind that certain venues may stay open after this time - especially if there is a special event happening at that location. (I have also had experiences where certain establishments may choose to close earlier if they're not too busy, so it's always a good idea to have a Plan B just in case!) You'll be happy to hear that
complimentary Walt Disney World Resort bus transportation continues running late and though it officially states online that it's an hour after closing hours, we have been fortunate enough on occasion to be
able to catch one beyond that time - even up to 2:00 a.m. EST in my personal experience!
Offerings and bus availability are always subject to change at any time however and can never be guaranteed, so I recommend asking one of the
Transportation Cast Members ahead of your night out when the latest bus to a resort may be scheduled; speaking with a
Guest Services Cast Member at Disney Springs, they helpfully offered that some folks staying out well beyond their bedtime may find that their remaining options include taking a taxi or scheduling a ride through a mobile app at either end of Disney Springs at the
Marketplace Bus Loop and just beyond the Big Top of
Drawn to Life Presented by Cirque du Soleil. After a certain point, Security Cast Members may gently begin clearing parts of Disney Springs and reminding guests where to go in order to be able to make it home safely, and will advise whether buses are no longer running. (They certainly wouldn't want late-night revelers just wandering about or waiting around at bus stops if there aren't any on the way!)
I recommend checking out the
Disney Springs Event Calendar to see what's on during your next visit, or the
latest and greatest updates on the Disney Parks Blog. Come back to planDisney again to
ask me more questions about spending some fun nights out, or whatever you're looking forward to experiencing on your next Disney adventure.
All the best on your next late-night quest!
Prince
