This is my 1st time going to Disney. I have done a lot of reading and getting over whelmed. Not sure what restaurants to make reservations at my children are 2 and 7. Just trying to be prepared with an itinerary but not sure where to start

    Hello Jody!

The Walt Disney World Resort is huge, so it is easy to feel a bit overwhelmed when planning your first vacation.  Please don't get discouraged though, the planning should be half the fun and you have come to the right place for help!  I am honored to assist you in planning your magical adventure.

My children love Character Dining experiences and as a mom, I love the adorable photo opportunities they offer and the ability to cross several Disney friends off of our meet and greet list all at once.  If you have a little princess I definitely recommend the Princess Storybook Dining at the Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. We also love breakfast at the Cape May Cafe,  dinner at The Garden Grill Restaurant and dancing through lunch at the Disney Junior Play 'n Dine at Hollywood & Vine.  If you are staying on property, I also like to check the park calendar to find out which parks are offering Extra Magic Hours during our stay because my family loves to take advantage of this bonus time in the parks.

I am here to make you planning a breeze, so if there is anything else, please don't hesitate to ask me any other questions, Jody.  I look forward to hearing from you soon!

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm Lauren, a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family and friends. From graduations to birthdays, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon we’ve loved celebrating at the most Magical Place on Earth. I now have pre-teens who check wait times in the My Disney Experience App just for fun, so I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help you plan a little extra Pixie Dust for your next magical adventure.
