this is 1st time to Disney. We r coming 4/7-4/11. Only opening @ Cind Table is breakfast. Is this worth the money? If not, what other character dining wld be good? Have 5yr old girl. Also, what attractions should we shoot for and what should we avoid?

Hi Ann, How exciting to be planning your first Disney vacation!

Breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table is a wonderful experience. Your little princess will love starting her day meeting Cinderella and other Disney royalty. The food is great and the castle is enchanting. Be sure to pick up an autograph book and bring your camera.

As far as ride recommendations, I should preface with the fact that our family loves thrill rides. Our youngest is 5 and she tries to go on everything that the rest of the group can do.

She loves all of the Fantasyland attractions at the Magic Kingdom. In addition, she rides Splash Mountain (it's her favorite) and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.

At Animal Kingdom, she rides anything that she's tall enough for. She especially enjoys Kali River Rapids and the Kilimanjaro Safari. I would avoid the Dinosaur ride as it is downright scary.

At Hollywood Studios, be sure to watch the Voyage of the Little Mermaid and the Beauty and the Beast show. It's a great way to see Princesses. Our 5 year old enjoys the Playhouse Disney Show too.

At Epcot, your little girl will likely enjoy the Seas with Nemo and Friends. It's a mesmerizing, slow moving ride that ends at a large multilevel aquarium. The Imagination Pavilion is wonderful for this age as well. Our daughter is tall enough to ride Soarin' and she loves it. She rides Test Track with us as well.

Without knowing your daughter and what types of rides she likes, the only one that I would say to absolutely avoid would be Dinosaur. Our youngest also does not like the Haunted Mansion (ghosts), so you might want to skip that as well.

Hope this helps and please let us know if you have further questions. Have a wonderful vacation!
