What time do we disembark from the ship ?

    Hi there, Nancy!

I don't normally like to talk about getting off a Disney Cruise Line ship. But I suppose that all good things must come to an end. And if you're referring to disembarking on a port stop before the end of your cruise, that's certainly OK, because at least you know that you'll be getting back on the ship well before the end of the day!

There are two places where you can find disembarkation times for your cruise: the "My Reservations" page on the Disney Cruise Line website or the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. With either tool, you start by logging into your My Disney account linked to your cruise reservation. Then select the "My Plans" view. You can scroll through all of your ports to find the latest times for Guests to board at each port as well as the "Guests Ashore" time for each port you visit and the "Debarkation Day" time for the final day of your cruise. The times listed are subject to change, depending on things like weather, sea conditions, or other circumstances. Listen for announcements over the ship's public address system or on channel 1 of your stateroom TV to learn about the most up-to-date changes that may occur.

If you are planning a flight home after the end of your cruise, you will want to consult the Ground Transportation Details page for minimum recommendations. To avoid the occasional uncertainties of travel, my personal preference is to book our pre-cruise and post-cruise flights for days other than embarkation and debarkation days. Especially when cruising out of Port Canaveral, Fort Lauderdale, or San Diego, my family and I love to add on some time at Disney World or Disneyland Resort before or after our cruise. A land and sea vacation is our favorite way to do Disney. We love it so much, we've even added on a few days at Aulani before our upcoming cruise out of Honolulu.

I'm sure you will have a memorable time on your Disney cruise, Nancy. If you have any more questions as you get ready to sail the high seas with Captains Mickey and Minnie, please visit us again here at planDisney.

    Have a magical time, Nancy!
    ~Tony
