What time do dining reservations, when you are trying to make them 60 days in advance open please? App constantly errors then suddenly restaurant is full and it was the only themed one we wanted! Trying to book from UK so can't call

    Hiya Andrea!

Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for sending us this magical question! I don't know about you, Andrea, but I often feel like the food at Walt Disney World Resort is just as important as the characters and attractions. Indeed, the Walt Disney World Resort has so many incredible restaurants and food options, and I am glad you are adding some to your vacation plans!

Now, I know that making dining reservations for some of the more in-demand restaurants can be tricky, but thankfully there are tips you can use to make it easier! First, dining reservations for the Walt Disney World Resort are typically released each day at 5:45 A.M. ET approximately. In contrast, special dining offers are generally available at 7 A.M. on the day offers are made available. Second, (and this applies to all technical issues) if you are having trouble with the My Disney Experience service on one device, try to open it on a different device or browser. Indeed, I often find that if a  feature doesn't work on my phone, it works better on my desktop and vice versa. I also suggest making sure you are using one of the browsers approved by Disney, as this can highly affect your use of certain websites and features. Lastly, don't feel discouraged if you don't get the reservation you want 60 days in advance! Guests often cancel their reservations for all kinds of reasons, so keep an eye on the reservation system, especially during the week leading up to your visit! Similarly, check if the restaurants you want to visit accept walk-ins or have a walk-up list! As Remy once said: "the only thing predictable about life is its unpredictability."

If you are looking for great food options without the stress of booking dining reservations, I highly recommend that you organize your trip during one of EPCOT's festivals! Each festival has a themed menu and additional food booths that give you a wide selection of unique and delicious food options. For example, the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts typically has lots of creative, colourful and unique options, while the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival has a lot of fresh and flower-themed offerings. Similarly, the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is the best time to visit if you want to try as many scrumptious treats and meals as possible, but the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays is amazing to learn about other cultures and their traditions! The Disney Parks Blog usually publishes a foodie guide before each festival, so you could look at the menus from previous years to figure out which festival might best fit your interests!

I hope this was helpful, Andrea, and that you and your fellow little chefs will have the best day ever on your next Disney vacation. If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your holiday, please don't hesitate to reach out. Vous êtes toujours la bienvenue chez Remy!

Have a magical day and bon appétit,
