Hello and welcome to
planDisney, Elaine. I'm so glad you've stopped by to chat about one of my favorite things - Disney dining!
Elaine, it's great that you are thinking about making
advanced dining reservations for your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World. Some of the best places can fill up rather quickly so it always makes me happy when I know people have a plan!
You are able to make advanced dining reservations 60 days prior to your vacation check-in day for the length of your stay up to ten days if you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. If you are staying off property you can still make your reservations 60 days prior but you'll have to make them day-by-day. Reservations open up online starting at 6:00 a.m. Mickey Mouse's time or over the phone by calling 407-WDW-DINE starting at 7:00 a.m.
I do suggest setting your alarm bright and early, Elaine. I like to set mine for about 5:50 a.m. This lets me wake up, grab a beverage, open up my computer and log in to my
MyDisneyExperience account before the reservation system officially opens.
I'm not sure if you have all of your dining spots planned out yet but one of my favorite spots is
The BOATHOUSE at Disney Springs. I eat there most trips that I take to Walt Disney World - sometimes twice if I can finagle it! The restaurant is set right on the lake at Disney Springs and provides stunning views all day long. There is something for everyone on the menu but my go-to order right now is the lobster roll served warm with butter. I always upgrade to the truffle fries and I highly encourage you to do the same. They are fantastic! I also love ending my meal with the key lime pie in a jar. It's light and tart and a delicious way to end a scrumptious meal!
I hope you are able to reserve all of the restaurants that your heart desires for your vacation. If you have any other questions while you plan, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help.
Have fun and enjoy!
Jackie H.
