Hi Mandi! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.
Dining is a big part of my family's magical experience on a Disneyland Resort vacation. We love to enjoy Table Service meals and
Character Dining whenever we get the opportunity. So, I can appreciate that you want to secure your coveted dining locations as soon as possible. Typically,
dining reservations can be made 60 days out. Those can open up earlier or later than that window, however. Timing is variable too: There's a good chance if you hop online or on the
Disneyland mobile app at 6 AM PST that you'll be greeted with new availability, but sometimes they open earlier and sometimes it's later.
My best advice is to start checking a little before your 60-day window and keep checking. Diligence can often pay off, especially with the most popular dining choices or popular times of the year. People's plans do change, which means you could possibly secure a dining reservation even 24 hours before your preferred time! Don't give up.
Where are you dreaming of dining? My top pick is
Blue Bayou Restaurant in New Orleans Square at Disneyland Park, the most iconic immersive dining experience. I'll take my delicious meal in the perpetual twilight of the bayou as boats drift by any day of the week! We also love
Carthay Circle Restaurant on Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure Park or
Napa Rose in Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa for a really elevated and elegant dining experience. And don't miss
Goofy's Kitchen in Disneyland Hotel, where Goofy and his friends will greet you, while you enjoy a vast buffet of all your favorites. During your visit, the Characters will be in their holiday finest, which is extra merry!
I hope this helps.
Elizabeth
