Well, hello there, Melanie! Welcome to planDisney. It’s so nice that you found us.
Your trip to the
Walt Disney World Resort is right around the corner, and there are so many great new things to check out around the resort! For me, one of my new favorites is
Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After in
Disney’s Hollywood Studios. As someone who is very excited for the
villains-themed land to open in the future at
Magic Kingdom Park, it’s awesome to get a peek into their villainous world beforehand in this fun stage show. And if you’re a fan of lounges, you’re in luck!
The Beak & Barrel is a great spot to grab some light bites and experience more of the story of the Pirates of the Caribbean, and
GEO-82 is a sophisticated gem with all the
Spaceship Earth vibes you could ever want.
Once you arrive at the resort and download the My Disney Experience mobile app, you’ll want to connect your
theme park tickets by clicking the three horizontal lines (☰) in the bottom right-hand corner of the app, selecting the “My Tickets and Passes” tile, tapping the plus sign (+) in the upper right-hand corner, and choosing “Link Tickets & Passes.” If it’s a vacation package, you’ll click those three horizontal lines (☰), select “Hotel Reservations,” and then input your confirmation number and the last name on the reservation. Once complete, you’ll go back to those three horizontal lines (☰), scroll down, and select “Set Up MagicMobile Entry.” Tap the plus sign (+) in the upper right-hand corner and follow the prompts to set up your MagicMobile passes. You can then share them with the Guests in your party. This way, your phone becomes your theme park ticket that you can scan at the gates.
If you’d prefer to use Key to the World Cards, which are physical tickets, you can visit Guest Services outside one of the theme parks to get one for anyone in your party. Two summers ago, when I took my best friend, she preferred not to use her phone, and this was her way of tapping into the parks and the
Lightning Lanes we had purchased.
Melanie, enjoy every moment of your trip, and
please come back if you have any other questions for us!
Watch out, world. Here you come!
Wickedly yours,
Matt
